| Project Type: Database Client: Select Resource International Project Description: Relational database system for tracking the process of ad agency reviews, a library of agency's books of work, specialized contacts and subscriptions. Background: Select Resources International provides advertising agency review services for some of the nations largest advertisers. Ad Week and Ad Age frequently list them in their accounts in review sections and the organization handling the ad agency review. Select Resources facilitates the matching or large advertisers with qualified advertising agencies by organizing the process of agency reviews. They sought to update their existing flat file database system and to streamline the monitoring of the review process. Project Goals: (1) Take the companies existing internally developed flat file system and convert if to a relational database system. (2) Create a system capable of tracking advertising agency subscribers, client's seeking reviews, and the status, history and progress of reviews. (3) Prepare specialized reports for quick review status reporting. TooBaRoo Solution: Using FileMaker Pro, TooBaRoo created an integrated relational database system that met the clients goals. |
