| Project Type: Database Client: Western Robidoux Printing Project Description: Relational database system for managing print job tickets, production tracking, cost and data gathering. Background: Western Robidoux is a commercial printing company that produces between 10 to 30 print jobs on a daily basis. They wanted to replace a paper based job ticket system with a digital system that would allow for the easy retrieval of job ticket, client and press information and also capture the billing and production information from a series of in-plant computer terminals. Project Goals: (1) Create a database for entering and tracking job ticket information. (2) Capture the time and materials cost data as a job is produced. (3) Create a databased calendar for the quick display or plant production capacity and job status. TooBaRoo's Solution: Using FileMaker Pro TooBaRoo created a shared multi-user integrated database solution to accomplish the project goals. |
