| Project Type: Web Development Client: St. Joseph Convention & Visitors Bureau Project Description: Web Site development for a Convention and Visitors bureau. Background: The St. Joseph Missouri Convention and Visitors Bureau sought to revamp the look and feel of its first generation web site to coincide with the look and feel of the bureau's printed materials. Project Goals: (1) Take existing web content and change the look and feel to reflect the historical nature of the city and the client organization's existing printed materials. (2) create a Java scripted timeline to that flashed different historical facts about the city and region as the user rolls the cursor over points on the timeline. TooBaRoo Solution: TooBaRoo examined the existing printed materials and preserved the color scheme and used may of the elements in the web site's content. A series of icons were designed by convey the desired historical feel to the navigation system. The content from the existing site was reformatted and revised to allow for printing of the sites numerous event and activity listings. |
